Coming for Fall 2015: CS First / Scratch Storytelling Club

CS First Storytelling Club

Use Scratch to tell fun and interactive stories and create your own graphic novels to share with other students around the world!

Projected start date: October 5, 2015. See you then!

Back with more CS First and Scratch in Fall 2015. Stay tuned!

We really enjoyed learning coding with Scratch in Fall 2014 and adding Google CS First in Spring 2015 brought us to a new level of fun.  We are planning now for Fall 2015 and hope to offer a choice of either the Game Design or the Storytelling themes. Our first club meeting should be on October 5.  Hope to see you there!

Celebrate and Share

We invite all parents, teachers, and community members to join us for our last Computer Club meeting for Spring 2015!

Date: April 13, 2015

In Spring 2015 we continued our adventure into the world of computer programming by using math to draw shapes in Scratch and then combining those shapes into patterns by adding repeats, turns, and color changes to create surprising animations and designs.

We became a Google CS First Computer Club on our fourth meeting and began to log in to CS First for the lessons and in to the Scratch Community for remixing and sharing Game Design projects.  We are planning to continue as a CS First club in Fall 2015.
